A disheveled Shia LaBeouf has been released from police custody after being arrested at a New York City theater and charged with criminal trespass and two counts of disorderly conduct, the NYPD confirmed to Mashable.
The 28-year-old actor verbally threatened security and patrons at Studio 54 during a performance of the Broadway musical Cabaret on Thursday before hurling similar threats to police officers after intermission, Detective Marc Mell said Friday shortly after LaBeouf's release.
After a court appearance, the Transformers star walked out of Midtown Community Court wearing a torn T-shirt, jeans and a frown as cameras and reporters swarmed him.
Mell would not confirm witness reports on that LaBeouf was smoking, slapping people, yelling obscenities, falling on his face, referencing his "millions of dollars," using homophobic slurs or lying about being in the Army.
