Welcome to this morning's edition of "First To Know," a series in which we keep you in the know on what's happening in the digital world.
We're looking at three particularly interesting stories today. At this year's International CES, streaming player Roku announced it is joining the smart TV market this fall. Users will have full access to the Roku Channel Store that includes more than 31,000 movies and 1,200 channels. Nvidia unveiled a powerful Tegra K1, a 192-core mobile chip. The 32-bit model will appear in mobile devices soon, while the 64-bit one will show up closer to the end of the year. Lastly, LaCie announced a device that acts as its own wireless network â" a wireless external hard drive for iOS and Mac devices called Fuel.
