Aguilera announced her pregnancy in February, and though the network hoped sheâd stay on, sheâs stepping down â" she'd be about ready to pop by the show's end â" and is already signed on to return in season eight, TMZ reported.
Stefani won't be the only newbie on the show: NBC recently signed Pharrell Williams to take the chair once occupied by the departed CeeLo Green. Show regulars Adam Levine and Blake Shelton remain in their spinny-chairs, meanwhile.
Williams and Stefani just performed together at the Coachella Music Festival (photo above) â" will they do it again on The Voice? That could make people happy.
