Nokia Unveils Lumia 525 and Other News You Need to Know

Welcome to this morning's edition of "First To Know," a series in which we keep you in the know on what's happening in the digital world.

Today, we're looking at three particularly interesting stories. Nokia just announced a successor to its popular Lumia 520 called the Lumia 525, and it̢۪s more colorful and much faster than its predecessor. Google announced a new Chrome extension for voice search on Tuesday. And in light of Edward Snowden's revelations, Microsoft says it plans to ramp up its efforts to encrypt Internet traffic to protect against NSA surveillance, per a report in The Washington Post.
